Maya's Trip to the Hospital

On June 26, Maya had an accident with a door and needed to be rushed to the hospital. That is the clean version of a long story. She "hurt" her pinky finger and needed surgery that night. She stayed in the hospital for 1 day. She was very brave. Unfortunately, the accident left her unable to play or swim. She cannot run around or rough house like she normally does for fear of reinjuring her finger. Maya has adjusted well and knows she cannot do anything that might cause her to fall and hurt her finger. She does not want to go back to the hospital. Below are some pics of our brave little girl with her bandages. She definitley has a good story to tell from her summer vacation!
